About the Doctors

Mary Beth Sheehan, D.D.S.

Dr. Mary Beth Sheehan graduated from Ball State University in 1989 with a degree in Pre-dentistry and in 1992 from Indiana University School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association and has participated in Give Kids a Smile donating dentistry to children for the past seven years.

Dr. Sheehan enjoys dentistry for many reasons. She loves the challenge of the technical skill in more difficult cases and hearing the stories that come from the children’s mouths. She enjoys getting to know the patients and rarely has trouble relating on the same level. Her most favorite part is meeting the nervous or fearful new patient for the first time and having them become long-term patients that don’t mind coming to appointments anymore. She has many, and they have become the number one reason she continues to enjoy her profession. She makes a difference by serving them well.

Dr. Sheehan has been married to Dr. Jeff Stahly for 15 years and has three children: Audrey, Libby and David, who keep them busy with many sporting events. She enjoys reading suspense novels, following the Colts and the Pacers, listening to music (no country or classical) and watching her children’s sporting events.

Anne Neitzke, D.D.S.

Dr. Anne Neitzke grew up in Elkhart, Indiana and graduated from Elkhart Central High School. She graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Business. Anne went to Indiana University School of Dentistry where she graduated in 1996. Anne and her husband, Robert, whom she met in high school, reside in Indianapolis. He works for Cummins Engine Company in Columbus, Indiana. Robert’s job has taken him to many countries worldwide. They have two children, Max and Lola. She has worked at Knightstown Gentle Dentist since 2003. Anne’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and making jewelry.

One of the many reasons Dr. Anne chose dentistry as a profession is that she was a terrified dental patient as a child. She is grateful for the kind dentists that coached her through her own appointments. Dr. Anne enjoys helping others overcome their dental fears, too. She likes to really get to know her patients of all ages and to help them achieve healthy teeth and beautiful smiles.
